Living in Kansas, I made a series of wizard of oz bookmarks. Here is the crochet pattern for Dorothy and Toto of Oz bookmark for anyone who loves adventure. This pattern includes the option of Toto in a basket or Toto being held by Dorothy. The crochet stitches include, sc, hdc, dc, tr and sl st and front loop and back loop work. The pattern includes description of abbreviations, complete instructions and picture tutorials. Toto can hang outside the book to remind any reader that there is more story to go.
