I want to write a perl script for doing this.
Replace every "bill clinton" with an "al gore" $string =~ s/bill clinton/al gore/; perl regular expressions normally match the longest string possible.
Replacement with sed: replace pattern with multiple lines that is almost too easy ๐ thanks for this suggestion, i hadn't though of perl.
Once all instances of the double pattern are replaced with html tags, then itัััโะฒโัs safe to proceed with a single pattern search and replace.
