Hope you’re all having a great weekend!🍂 I love crocheting small doilies. They are both very nice to look at and enjoyable to make. There are infinite ways you can use them. I would like to share this doily pattern with you! 😊😉 Hope you enjoy and find it useful! Size: The doily measures approx. 16cm (6.3 inches) in diameter. Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate Materials used: Alize Bella 100% cotton yarn, 50 grams, 180 metres, fingering weight, size 1 – super fine; 3.0mm (C/2) crochet hook. Abbreviations (US terms): sl st. – slip stitch ch – chain sc – single crochet dc – double crochet trc – treble crochet dc2(3)tog – 2(3) double crochet closed together ch4picot – ch4, insert the hook back into first ch , yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook. Written Pattern: Start with a magic (adjustable) ring or ch5 and join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring. Round 1: ch3 (will count as the first dc), 15dc into the ring. Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. Round 2: ch3 (will count as the first dc), ch1, (1dc into next st., ch1)* repeat 15 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. Round 3: ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, ch4, (1sc into next st., ch4)* repeat 15 times. Join with a sl st. into first sc. Round 4: sl st. into next ch4 space, ch3 (will count as the first dc), dc2tog into that same ch4 space, (ch5, dc3tog into next ch4 space)* repeat 15 times around, Join with ch2 + 1dc on top of the dc2tog. Round 5: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, ch4, (1trc, ch3, 1trc, ch2, ch4picot, ch2, 1trc, ch3, 1trc) into next ch5 space, ch4, (1sc into next ch5 space, ch4, (1trc, ch3, 1trc, ch2, ch4picot, ch2, 1trc, ch3, 1trc) into next ch5 space, ch4)* repeat 7 times around. Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate Materials used: 3.0mm crochet hook, sport weight, size 2 cotton yarn. Abbreviations (US terms): st. – stitch, ch – chain, sl st. – slip stitch, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, trc – treble crochet, trc3(2)tog – 3(2) treble crochet closed together. ch3(5)picot – ch3(5), insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into first ch), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.
